Iyayi Group is an Agro company established and certified in March 1983. We are not only wholesalers, distributors and exports of cassava products and by- products such as Cassava tuber for local comsumption, we equally export cassava pellets, chips and flour, for food processing and animal feed.
Our focus is primarily on export as we have essentially met the demands of the local market. We are interested in going into long term partnership with oversea customers as we have in place capacity to meet any demand. Cassava production is an all year arround affair, we plant, harvest and process on daily basis.
Cassava chips are used by cassava flour processors, biscuit factories, starch making industries and other energy food producers. It has been discovered that cassava can be useful in treating mad cow disease.
Cassava can be processed primarily through three main channels: starch, flour and ethanol. There are also several other smaller value added markets such as glucose, and citric acid. It can be used to produce glues and alcohol.
