DUMT OIL NIG LTD (DONIL), was incorporated as a limited liability company on 17th may 2006 to harness and export nigeria's vast Natural Gas Liquids (CONDESATE, LPG) to the whole world.
In november 2008, a Final Investment Decision (FID) was taken by the shareholders of NNPC, SHELL GAS B.V., TOTAL and ENI, to buy and distribute their products to both individuals and companies of interest.
DONIL, has 7 years Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPAs) with NNPC, Enel of Italy and Gas Natural SDG SA of Spain to distribute its products to the whole world, which are sold FOB under a 1'1/2 month term contract following an International Bidding Exercise.
DONIL has a balanced portfolio of hired and owned vessels. its owned vessesls are run by its subsidiary, Bonny Gas Transport, BGT. currently (October 2008), 3 ships with cargo capacity of between 12,000-21,000 cubic metres are used for transporting LPG and CONDESATE from Bonny Island to buyers.
The by-products of LNG: Condensate and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are sold on a Free on Board (FOB) basis under a 1'1/2 month contract. LPG production started in 2008. It consists of refrigerated grade of commercial propane and commercial butane, which are sold separately. Condensate exports started in 2009. DONIL currently produces and loads over 3 cargoes of these products annually.
