We have experience in this field since 1975; having currently a wide range of products with presence in more than 38 countries worldwide. 1975: Starting operations - PEVISA GASKETS
The story of PEVISA GASKETS begins in 1975 with the signing of a joint venture agreement with Victor Gaskets - Dana Corporation of the United States to stablish a factory in Peru specialized in the manufacturing of automotive gaskets.
PEVISA GASKETS begins operations in 1975 and what started back then with six people working in an area of 500 square meters, is now a manufacturing and commercial operation with facilities covering more than 20,000 square meters, generating income for more than 550 families.
2000: International expansion - positive results
From the year 2000, having a solid foundation of production and sales in the local market and in American export markets, PEVISA GASKETS undertook an strategy to expand its sales to other continents.
Our participation starts as exhibitors at the most respected international fairs of the global automotive business: Automechanika Frankfurt (Germany), Aapex Show (USA), Automec Sao Paulo (Brazil), Automechanika Dubai (UAE), Automechanika St. Petersburg (Russia), Automechanika Johannesburg (South Africa), Automechanika Seoul (Korea), among others.
The results were quite positive, new customers were developed in Europe, USA, Middle East, Mexico, Brazil and export sales of PEVISA GASKETS showed an increasing trend, so that currently 80% of production is going to export customers.
2002: Certification ISO 9001:2000
Pevisa's markets became global so it was necessary to start the process of implementing a quality management system, a process that culminated successfully achieving the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Up to this year we have re-certified three times our quality management system, having all our processes currently controlled under ISO 9001:2008 standard.
2004 - 2008: Manufacturing process automation
During these years we undertook an intensive reengineering of manufacturing processes, aiming to their automation, to allow our factory to efficiently respond to the growing demand of our gaskets as a result of the increasing level of our sales in the local and in the export markets.
