SOUTH SEA VENEER CORP. (SVC) was established in 2002, specializes in natural veneer lamination & wood furniture manufacturing, serving both the domestic & export market. It first served the veneer requirements of its well-established sister companies (namely More Than A Chair Inc. , Betis Craft Inc. & JB Woodcraft) and later on ventured in serving its own network of domestic & export clienteles.
The company's laminated veneer products range from simple to intricate hand-mand marquetry & parquetry designs that are applied on drawers, table tops, headboards, home decors, etc. SVC also supplies laminated veneer panels used for interior projects. The company proudly employs skilled & talented craftsmen who create the company's quality products.
Apart from laminated veneer products, SVC also offers furniture products showcasing a wide range of natural materials such as banana bark, shells, reconstituted leather, coconut shell & bamboo.
SVC has also supplied quality furniture to several domestic & international hotel contract projects one of which was the newly renovated wing of the Manila Peninsula last 2006 & the Cebu Marriot Hotel last 2008. In 2003, SVC-Cebu branch (the same previous company Marquetry Line, Inc. ) also supplied furniture & other decorative items for the Chi Spa of Shangri-la Resort & Spa (Mactan, Cebu) as a sub-contractor to the hotel's main contractor. Later on in 2003 & 2006, SSVC served several items again to the said spa & some guestrooms. Presently serving the new Shangri-la Boracay Hotel & Spa.
As part of the company's continuous growth & expansion, it has recently opened a factory branch in Mandaue City, Cebu last January of 2007.
