Kilas is a Portuguese footwear enterprise situated in the North of Portugal, in Felgueiras, about 50 Km away from Porto.
The enterprise was formed in the end of 1978 and is exclusively oriented for the manufacturing of footwear.
Developed thanks to many investments that allowed the company to enlarge its installations successively and modernise the human and technical component, which resulted in the implementation of a rational and effective layout.
In the last years the enterprise has carried out investments exclusively of modernisation for the improvement of production and quality.
Actually the production comprehends basically two types of products, shoes and boots for man, lady and child, casual of medium/high range bound for the intercommunity market: France, Sweden, Germany, England, Holland etc.
The company employs about 160 employees having a daily production of 1600 pairs.
Its staff has technical qualified formation in the diverse sectors and possesses a modern equipment with the purpose to guarantee the customers high quality and reliability of the products.
It possesses a Certified Quality System, for the norm NP EN ISO 9001:2000.
