Arelan Ltd. is a company specialized in mouldings, solid wood boards, stair parts and bio-fuels. It was established in 2007 as a solid wood processing factory in Saint-Petersburg area. Its relatively short history is nevertheless a great example of how quickly and successfully can a young company with passionate team develop.
During the 7 years following its inception the company has enjoyed impressive growth and has vertically integrated both downward to sawmilling and upward to logistics and sales. It currently operates at two locations in Saint-Petersburg area (one sawmill and one wood processing) and runs a fleet of 5 trucks which facilitates the distribution to 70 construction retail units throughought Russia.
We are currently suppliers to 10 major construction retail chains in Russia, among which are well-known global players such as Castorama.
However, we have decided to export part of our output. Why? We have reached a certain point in time when we want to diversify our sales portfolio, making our products available for people from all over the world. We strongly believe that our products possess all the characteristics needed to appeal to most demanding customers, and this is why.
On the input side, we work with northern wood, which is considered superior to southern wood, namely for its density, heat insulation and sound proofing characteristics. On the processing side, we use top notch machinery (Weinig Group) and latest technological solutions. Therefore, on the output side, we get excellent products and we feel it is our duty to make it possible for them to reach customers in any locations.
