MODECOR

Established in 2000 in Jubail Industrial City in Saudi Arabia and covering a surface of 70,000 square meters, Modecor plant is the first lamination manufacturing operation of its kind in the GCC and Middle East markets. Modecor manufactures and markets Decorative HPL-CPL Laminates, Thermo Fused Melamine Faced Panels (MDF and Chip-boards), Laminate Flooring (Parquet) and Melamine Edge Bands. Modecor uses the latest process technology formerly used by very few multinational firms in the world.

With the state of the Art German Machinery and a dedicated team of more than 150 professional engineers and technicians; Modecor plant can impregnate 40 million square meters of decor and Kraft paper, produce 10 million square meters of thermo fused melamine faced panels, 5 million square meters of Laminates and 1 million square meters of laminate flooring annually. Modecor products are available in a vast range of contemporary modern decors & textures.

Modecor manufactures its own resins. With its own impregnation facilities from VITS-German for both phenolic and melamine decor paper, also procuring the best raw material for production. There is a stringent quality control on the final product parameters ensuring that each final product delivered meets the specified quality norms laid out in the various international standards. These factors have led us to penetrate the global markets and currently we are exporting more than 60% of our yearly production to the European market and the other major global markets.

Products range

1.LAMINATES

A) MODEflex, post forming grade laminates (CPL) from 0.16 mm to 0.3 mm thickness. Available in rolls of up to 300 m length, these flexible laminates are ideally suited for postforming over very tight radii and Vertical applications. For special applications, MODEflex is also available with a scratch resistant overlay.

B) MODEform are post forming grade laminates (CPL) in a stunning modern range of solid colors, exotic wood patterns, stone and fantasy designs.
MODEform is suitable for horizontal general postforming (HGP) and vertical general postforming (VGP). Its also available with a scratch resistant overlay.

C) MODEpal, standard grade laminates (HPL) are available in sheets of 0.6 mm to 1.2 mm thickness and a standard sheet size of 1300 x 2440 mm. Available in a wide range of colors and in Matt texture only, these can be used for all kinds of surfacing applications. Use MODEpal with the additional surface protection of MODEshield to enhance the scratch and wear resistance properties.

2.PANELS
A) MODEpan, thermo-fused melamine faced panels with MDF, Chipboard and other suitable substrates are available in a standard size of 1220 x 2440 mm and thickness range from 3 mm to 38 mm. MODEpan is used by the furniture industry for all types of office and home furniture and other interior and architectural works. MODEpan is available in 4 Surface textures viz. Matt, Pearl, Nature Touch & Ash Wood.

3.EDGEBAND
MODEedge, melamine edgebands are available in rolls of 50 m & 100 m with widths in the range of 15 - 45 mm. MODEedge is available with pre applied hot melt glue for small usage by carpenters, joinery shops and without glue for larger runs at factories. MODEedge is a flexible and tough material suitable for finishing the exposed edges.

LAMINATE FLOORING
MODECOR has its own laminate flooring line Provided and installed from the leading German manufacturers HOMAG and ZIEMER. It has facilities to groove to click for making planks for laminated flooring without glue.
