UVS STEEL PTE LTD is a fully privately owned steel trading company of UVS Steel. UVS Steel Group has started steel business over 14 years ago under the name of Tianjin Shangyi Metal Structure Trade Company Limited. Originally the company has worked on a relatively small scale within China and very restricted number of African & Middle East countries. This company was active in the steel fabrication works as well. Gradually the company has increased its sales strength and created its own markets in Middle East, Africa and ASEAN countries. Africa gradually became more important business destination and at the same time new activities were set up in South and Central American markets.In 2010 the company has established its first overseas marketing office in Singapore and registered as UVS STEEL PTE LTD to boost its trading business to ASEAN, African, Middle East, European and South American markets. The Group has exported in the year 2009 over 100,000 tons of steel to Africa, Middle East and ASEAN countries. UVS Steel Group sources steel products from premier mills in China. UVS also sources long & flat products for its customers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Turkey origins. The strength of the company is the strong logistic and financial structure. Accumulating middle-sized and bigger orders, we manage to organize shipments from origins, which are not workable for smaller orders, standing on their own. The steel mills are selected carefully. We do not only consider the element of price, however also spend much time and energy to check the quality of the product, the packing and the handling. In some of the countries of origin, each and every ton of steel is surveyed by our own or an independent inspection company.
