Bio Energy Plantations is incorporated in Dec 2005 in Singapore by young and dynamic entrepreneur with firing desire to meet global environmental demands by doing Jatropha Curcas L. Plantations in his unutilized mining leased land of 121 hectors in India. By end of 2006 company is aiming to acquire 7000 hectors of land from government of India for plantation purpose with the help of local and foreign Investors.
The main objective of Bio Energy Plantations is to supply crude oil extracted from seeds of Jatropha Curcas L. Plantations from its 7000 hectors of acquired land to the Bio Diesel manufacturing plants both in India and overseas countries like USA, UK etc. By 2008. India being worlds 5 th largest energy consumer and the price of oil per litre being officially confirmed by government of India as US$ 50 cents, Bio Energy Plantations will target the Indian market first by signing up with companies like IOC, Southern Online Biotechnologies, D1, Godrej, Bharath Petroleum etc..
