The Original Rooibos Jam Company
The History of Rooibos is a long and interesting one. It grows in the Cedarberg Mountain regions of South Africa, approximatelly 200kms N. W. Of Cape Town, an area famous for its prolific rock paintings which suggest, that the indigenous San tribe used the needle like "Aspalathus Liearis" plant to make a tasty aromatic drink more than 6000 years ago.
