Africa is a continent with an enormous amount of medicinal plants and Afrigetics is bringing these plants to the global marketplace through research, innovation and extraction.Our products: Afrigetics cc specialises in sourcing new medicinal plants in Africa and manufacturing botanical extracts made from African herbs. Our extracts include Irvingia, Griffonia, Bulbine natalensis, Pelargonium sidoides, Hoodia and a few others. Our primary market: 80% of our products are exported to the USA, however, we have a growing customer base in South Korea and certain parts of Europe. Our achievements: In 2011 the South African government selected Afrigetics as one of 10 companies from 2000 companies Afrigetics to partake in an export development program. This program will enable us to travel to our customers countries and perform market research, establish trade and distribution networks and establish better customer relationships. Our focus for 2011:1. We are sourcing new African herbs that will serve the sports nutrition, weight loss and immune boosting sectors. 2. Establishing a new extraction facility with a joint venture business partner in South Africa3.
