AccessPack and Liftlog
A exiting new product where you can easily control access to all of your potentially dangerous equipment via a single employee smartcard. Access the history of the last 200 users of a particular machine, identyfing name, date, time and duration of use. You could keep a complete history of every hoisting and travel motion, every limit trip and monitor events on your crane/hoist and link each event to a known operator. You could be alerted by SMS or email immediately an unsafe event occurs on your cranes/ hoists,. You could substantially reduce the cost of maintenance and repairs on your cranes. You could see the remaining safe working life of any crane or hoist whenever you need to know it. You could legally reduce the routine service frequency on low use cranes because you have the data to prove the actual duty cycles.
Sidewise
Cranes and hoists are only designed to withstand vertical loading. Out-of-vertical hoisting, commonly referred to as side-pulling, damages wire rope and rope guides, because the wire jumps out of its grooves as it winds around the drum and rubs against itself or the drum.
SideWise is a simple anti-side pulling system that ensures loads are only lifted vertically. It can easily be retrofitted to existing cranes and consists of a sensor unit mounted on the rope with a signal processing module in the hoist control box. Crane motion is disabled as soon as any long or cross-travel horizontal loads are detected.
