CIPROSA is a result of the merger of two former directorate of the dti, SACRO-South African Companies Registration Office and SAPTO-South African Patents & Trade marks Office, from 1 March 2002 into a single a efficient and customer driven Business Agency called CIPROSA.
CIPROSA is a new delivery channel that will be used to avail, to all our customers and stakeholders, new automated and electronic services. It will also be used as an easy point of entry by our customers and stakeholders who will get the information they need as and when they need it,24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It gives a new dimention to the way our customers and stakeholders will do business with our office.
