U Pass has initially been incorporated in May 2005, and after one year of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology research U Pass eventually developed passive transponder and interrogator system, which enables long & high-speed recognition for the first time in the world.
In particular, our transponder is designed to be ultra slim type, so that it can be embedded into credit card. This technology has been recognized as a new wireless payment tool by Visa International Asia-Pacific, and both parties signed on the strategic alliance agreement in order to deploy U Pass RF cards.
U Pass RFID system can be applied to any business areas that require safe, accurate wireless data transfer, such as transportation, logistics, factory automation, security facility, etc. Currently U Pass completes ETCS (Electronic Toll Collecting System), Access Control System, Parking Control System, and Membership Management System using RF card.
