Heritage-Our ancestors have been involved in cultivating Cinnamon ever since growing Cinnamon came to Sri Lanka. In fact, or involvement dates back to the year 1500, and the know-how of growing and caring for fine Cinnamon has since been passed from generation to generation.
Too Many Middle Parties-Sri Lanka enjoys the distinction of contributing to over 90% of the global Cinnamon production. Yet we have never had the good fortune of enjoying the greater benefits of the markets, as often, raw Cinnamon is sold to middlemen along the way for value-addition. Nomannic Krab has been no different. Until recent, the total production from Nomannic krab was sold to various middle parties in many countries, with the exception of the small percentage of Cinnamon sold to the local market. This supply model was reviewed and restructured, and now we are offering our product and services directly to to the business who are much more closer to the consumers to guarantee the freshness and the superior quality of Ceylon Cinnamon by eliminating all the middlemen. Our products which are packed at source are now delivered directly to many destinations across the globe by days within harvest and processing. This supply model has created many advantages to all the parties in the value chain in many ways including price, quality and traceability and ultimately consumers receive a better product. Currently all our production, processing, packing and shipping operations are done through one centralized location in Sri Lanka and our worldwide sales and marketing are also coordinated from Sri Lanka. We have strategically extended these operations & amp; direct sales activities to our office in Spain to focus more to our Spanish speaking clients mainly based in Central & amp; South America and to direct sales operations in Europe.
Single Source: Guaranteed Quality-When the product is transfered through various middle parties, consumers cannot be guaranteed the fine aroma and flavor of Ceylon Cinnamon that is preserved from harvesting to the time it appears on the shop shelf. Even Cinnamon of the highest quality get mixed and contaminated with low-grade products during the process of going through wholesalers and middle parties. Cinnamon is prone to lose its freshness quality and aroma when transported and risks losing a degree of it's quality when stored at warehouses and docked at ports for long stretches of time. Sadly, most consumer's across the shores of Sri Lanka, may not be amongst the fortunate few who get to indulge in the fine quality of Cinnamon. How do we grow high quality Cinnamon and get them directly in to the hand of our consumers and customers without the help of these middlemen? Such was our industrial paradox. The bold and innovative step that Nomannic Krab took answerers this question. We harvest, process and pack the end products in hermetically sealed containers in one facility and ensure the product is produced in its best quality from harvest to shelf.
Sharing the Benifits-Previously the exhausting list of middle parties left us with low profits and little opportunity to pay our workforce adequately, which naturally left our workers unmotivated. Thanks to our new approach of eliminating bottlenecks in the supply chain and marketing channel of connecting the Cinnamon tree, it's people and Sri Lanka with the consumers around the world, we can witness positive results--the best Cinnamon ever produced from our fields and happy faces amongst our workforce and their families.
