In recent years, we have seen so many changes within the shipping industry and the ports serving this industry. The Next Shipping & Stevedoring (Nexts) have been established to respond to these changes. Our aim is to become the leading provider of shipping and professionalized stevedoring services in Trinidad & Tobago with a proven record which emphasizes our workers safety, level of services and cost competitiveness within our activities.The Nexts is the only shipping and stevedoring organization in Trinidad & Tobago that can meet all the needs of its customers. Our services are, all shipping and line agency matters including, vessel crewing; rig crewing ship’s chandlery; customs brokerage; immigration services; environmental services; hotel accommodation; crew assistances and professionalized stevedoring services. All our projects are given personal attention to ensure the successful execution of safe and quality service to all our customers and trusted partners.Our Objectives are to provide:-Shipping, vessels and line agent services incorporated with safe and professionalized stevedoring services.Assisting with the responsibilities of safety, security and labour from the port management to a professional private enterprise.Taking the responsibility of safeguarding the countries security by upholding laws governing the movement of vessels and its crew entering our ports.Encouraging strategic alliances with the management of the ports, customs, immigration and maritime to uphold the local and international laws governing entry of vessels into the country.Managing employable skill labour while creating employment and maintaining profitability of port labour force.

This “Operating Plan” is intended to support the following goals: 1) To provide shipping and stevedoring services in a safe working environment, which are cost effective and responsive to the needs of Client and its’ customers.2) To minimize vessel turn-around time.3) To minimize dead time on stevedore labor.4) To stabilize Client’s costs, and to improve production and service levels.5) Provide maximum utilization of vessel’s cargo capacity.6) To facilitate effective communications between Client, their agents and contractor.7) Comply with Super Carrier Agreement & Standard Operation Procedures to keep vessel and facility’s security at its highest degree of care and diligence in preventing drug smuggling and stowaway cases from happening in the port.8) To provide prompt, efficient and safe environmental transport and disposal services.
