Sts entered the turkish market in 1989 by acquiring 97% of the shares of sts that is one of the leading cement producer in marmara region, northwestern part of Turkey. Sts has later developed its cement activities in denizli and has penetrated the ready mix concrete market. Later in 1994 sts has signed %50 partnership agreement with sts holding and has thus expanded to Central anatolia.
