Meytin Ltd. Sti. started as young investment by, Mr. Ekin Pehlivanoglu, the new generation of the 30 years old well known Pehlivanoglu Group of Companies, which is also, with its 96 branches one of the major Turkish market chains, at 2006 by producing and exporting olive oil, olives and canned peppers, with its own brand MEYTIN to our own warehouse in New Jersey USA.
The domestic olive oil and olive producing and trading was always one of the major activities of the Pehlivanoglu Family, as the major landowners of the most olive growing area Akhisar in Turkey.
Within begin of the year 2008; we have established our vegetable processing and canning Facility at the Kaz Mountains in Canakkale. The main reason, to choose this place was, cause of the areas climate and natural sources.
The Kaz Mountains are known for its high oxygen content (the 2nd highest place in the World), zero pollution on air and earth, clear and much water sources. Which are the
main reasons for a very fruitable and healthy crop of peppers (espacialy Kapia), tomatoes and gherkins.
On our 10.000 square meter factory we have produced and still exporting for this season the following products:
Pickled Peppers:
Makedonian
Peperoncini
Lombardi
Jalapeno
Banana Pepper
Blanched & Sliced Peppers:
Kapia
Californian Wonder
Roasted Pepper as whole or sliced:

We can pack to any size of tins, glass or PET Jars and pouches.
Our Main exporting countries are, as private label or with our own label MEYTIN: USA, EU Countries and Australia.
Our goal for the season 2009-10 is to enlarge our product range to canned tomatoes and gherkins, sun dried tomatoes, antipasti products and various vegetable sauces.
