MARTAS, with its two processing plants, one in BURSA and another in IZNIK combined 100.000 square meters covered area, has a processing capacity of 30.000 tons of fruits and vegetables with 12.000 tons of cold storage facilities.
MARTAS owns a substantial acreage of fertile farming lands in the YENISEHIR and KEMALPASA regions, being only some 20 to 30 kilometers from the processing plant. Fifty percent of Martas's raw materials are grown and harvested on these plantations. The balance of needed raw materials are being contracted with the local farmers under the strict controls and supervision of Martas's own team of agronomists.
To enable Martas supply European and other demanding clients World wide with the high quality products they require, very strict production standarts are adhered to, in a clean, hygienic and safe processing environment.
All processing equipment is maintained to the highest European standarts and today's need for investment in "state of art" technology is recognised by Martas management and its skilled technicians.
All products produced undergo a full regime of physical and biological testing, carried out in Martas's own laboratory. The latest HACCP programmes are implemented throughout the whole process ensuring that Martas's customers quality and safe products which are fully traceable and certified.
