CURIO is a brand name for our home fashion design operations. It is owned by ABALIOGLU Textile, which is a subsidiary of C. S. ABALIOGLU Holding Company.
C. S. ABALIOGLU Holding Company is more than 50-year-old industrial group of companies of varies fields with $ 350 million of annual turnover. Among those companies ABALIOGLU Textile is a company operating in yarn manufacturing since 1991.
So what is CURIO? CURIO represents the product collection created by our design-oriented team of people. Currently, we have focused our attention on bed and bath line. CURIO has existed since September 2003, however we have become more active after January 2004 with the introduction of our new and attractive collection by our new design team, in Heimtextil, Frankfurt. In fact we are invited to participate in the Dreamland section where all the other big brands are taking place in Heimtextil. Moreover, we were accepted to Maison & Objet Fair in Paris, that takes place two times a year and only a few Turkish companies were accepted.
As CURIO, we are active mostly in BENELUX countries, Greece, Italy, Germany, Beirut, Taiwan and New Zealand. In these countries, CURIO takes place in the boutiques with the leaders of the market such as Casa, Bluemarine, Bassetti, Missoni, Donna, at the same price range.
Furthermore, we are a boutique company that can be flexible in design, size and quantity options. In other words we can custom-make our products based on the specific requirements of our customers. We are also offering design service to our clients.
Our products range includes duvet covers, bed sheets, shams and pillowcases as main items. We also have combining towels, bathrobes, pyjamas and slippers matching the bed linen collection. Most of our bed linen items are from 100% Compact cotton poplin fabrics. However we also have products from linen as well as satin fabrics.
Our collection reflects the east-meets-west culture of the city that we live in; Istanbul. This is why we have mostly soft colors in our collection.
Our main designers are quite careful about maintaining that unique look which we believe is very fashionable these days. They are currently working on adding new items such as bath linen as well as throws and decorative pillows. These new items with new designs will expand our collection even further.
Finally, our main mission is to become a brand that stands for high quality products of high-end home decoration. In other words, we believe our unique approach to home fashions will add value to the trend-setting environment.
