Aydin Orme San. Tic. A.S.

The first yarn production company of Aydin Orme was founded in 1995 with a texturizing machine purchased from BARMAG. That was one of the first steps taken by the company toward being a fully integrated plant. With that machine, the company started to manufacture texturized yarns that are used in cagliklar of rachel weaving machines at the plant. In 1997, a second texturizing machine was purchased, increasing the production capacity. With the spinning machines purchased up until 2002, this yarn production plant started to manufacture all lace and fantasy yarns that are used by Aydin Orme.
Between 2002 and 2003, when the weaving and yarn production plants were moved from Sarigazi to Akyazi, the spinning machines of the weaving unit were transferred to the yarn production plant with the addition of new machines. Within the framework of the restructuring took place in 2005, the weaving and knitting-warping units were merged into the yarn production plant.
Currently, the yarn production plant houses the Texturized, Spinning, F. Spinning and Warping units. The annual production capacities of these units are as follows: Texturized yarn-3000 tons; spun yarn-900 tons; embroidery yarn-600 tons; and fantasy yarn-400 tons. These yarns meet the needs of Voile Knitting, Weaving, Lace, Embroidery and Jersey units of Aydin Orme and are also offered to the market. Nearly 70% of the yarns utilized in Aydin Orme are supplied to its production plants after being processed at Aydin Yarn production plant.
4 machines operating in our Texturizing unit are manufacturing knitting, weaving and lace yarns of Polyesther and Polyamide. Thanks to the apparatuses of the machines newly purchased (in 2003) , we can manufacture specific yarns (thick-thin, lycra, pointed, etc. ) . We tend to manufacture mainly added-value yarns, rather than standard yarns, with these machines.
We have 19 spinning machines and 9 guipure / devore machines, which we have modified, as well as 5 transfer machines, 2 plaiting machines and 2 fixing machines in our yarn spinning unit. With these machines, we manufacture the spun yarns that are used on weaving and embroidery machines.
The fantasy spinning unit manufactures specific polyesther and polyamide yarns for the lace and weaving untis.
The warping units are engaged in rolling yarns on warp beams and bobbins to meet the warping needs of weaving and knitting machines.
In order to benefit from our excess capacity, we started to sell yarns in 2004. The sales of our embroidery and weaving yarns to other companies are continuing increasingly. Currently, 30-40% of our products are exported.
