Open joint-stock company Hemoplast is a leader in production of disposable medical products from polymer materials. Since 1973 the Company is among the largest manufacturers of medical items in the FSU. Systems for withdrawal, infusion and transfusion of blood and solutions, dialyzers, blood-transferring elements to artificial kidney and syringes are the main products manufactured by the Company.
Gemoplast holds a monopoly position in production of syringes and blood transfusion systems in Ukraine and is ranked second among the five largest syringes producers in the FSU countries by output and sales. Gemoplast holds a nation-wide market share of 65% in syringes sales and 90% in blood transfusion systems sales. The Companys exports about 30% of its total sales. The Company exports its medical products to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Romania.
