Jsc "zvezda" is the only Russian enterprise producing high-speed marine diesel engines of the light-weight design with rated power over 500 kw.
Products of "zvezda" for shipbuilding are marine diesel engines and geared diesel sets for high-speed marine and river vessels; marine reduction and reverse reduction gears, reverse clutches, planetary gears.
The power range of marine engines and sets of all applications is up to 7360 kw.

For almost 60 years of diesel engine production history, "zvezda" has developed and put into operation over 200 modifications of chn18 / 20 and chn16 / 17 diesel engines.
Almost all passenger hydrofoil crafts, considerable part of high-speed navy and frontier ships and boats, which are successfully operating not only in Ukraine, but in many countries of the world, are equipped with these engines.
Cooperation with the leading Russian and world-known design organizations allows "zvezda" taking part in creation of ships and vessels having not only up-to-date, but also perspective performance characteristics.
