AL FARNAS IS PART OF Pearl Oils (U) Ltd was incorporated in Uganda on June 21,2004 and registered under the Companies Act (Cap.85). The principal object of the Company is petroleum business. Pearl Oils deals in importation and distribution of Petroleum products. The company started operations in 1999 trading as Yusta Ltd. The company is currently operating six filling stations, employing 170 people and turning over 1,500,000 litres of fuel per month.
Pearl Oils imports fuel directly from Kenya (Kisumu and Eldoret) and stores it in the Government depot at Jinja. Using the transport services of a sister company, Yusta, Pearl Oils is able to import approximately 2,000,000 litres of fuel per month and distribute it to its six filling stations located at Mukono, Namasuba, Ndeeba, Bakuli, Banda and Arua.

Yusta Limited, another sister Company to Pearl Oils (U) Ltd, is an indigenous cargo transport company that owns 10 trucks of different tonnage capacity and is currently engaged in relief food aid distribution on behalf of World Food Programme both internally and to the neighbouring countries namely Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Safaha Limited is also a sister Company to Pearl Oils deals with construction and has been in operation for 3 years now. Its areas of operation include civil engineering and construction, plumbing, electrical installations and drainage. The Company has self owned equipments ranging from vibrators, concrete mixers, water pumps, engines, welding machine, compactor etc. Safaha also owns a fleet of construction vehicles which help in construction works. These include grader and 3 tipper lorries. Since its inception, Safaha Ltd. Has undertaken contracts for the construction of various Pearl fuel stations which include Pearl Banda (Plot 1494 Banda), Pearl Bakuli (Plot 106 Namirembe), Pearl Ndeba (Plot 971 Nalukolongo) and Pearl Namasuba (Plot 995 Entebbe Rd. ). Plans for the construction of other Pearl fuel filling stations in Mbale, Soroti, Kawempe and a modern fuel storage depot in Kawempe are underway. This will start before the end of the year 2006.
