We have two products available , solid oak flooring and engineered oak flooring, with each one suitable for different applications.
Solid Oak Flooring:
As its name suggests, solid oak flooring is pure oak from top to bottom and is exceptionally hardwearing. With a variety of widths available, our solid oak flooring is 20mm thick and can be oiled to give it increased stain and dirt resistance and also to highlight the natural grain. Our solid oak flooring features a tongue and groove element on all four sides so that each piece can fit easily to the next, providing a very neat finish.
Engineered Oak Flooring:
Our engineered oak flooring is of the highest quality and comprises of several layers of Birch Ply bonded together with a thick oak wear layer on top that is suitable for re-sanding when the surface needs to be refreshed. Due to the extreme pressures used during bonding, engineered oak flooring is very stable and can be installed in a room where there is increased humidity or where under-floor heating is present. With exceptional load-bearing capability, engineered oak flooring is ideal for direct fixing to floor joists or as a floating floor over a wide variety of underlay you can even glue it directly to a sub-floor. There are numerous advantages to engineered oak flooring and it shares the same hard-wearing surface as solid oak flooring, so it is almost impossible to tell them apart visually.
