dediShack formed in August 2006, originally incorporated in the dedicated services section of a well known Game server provider-GamerShack. As time progressed with GamerShack we realized a market which we felt we could impact on; Dedicated servers and co-location. During early 2007 dediShack privately sold dedicated servers to smaller clients as a 'trial' run of the industry, we found that customers were highly satisfied by our level of service thus the decision was made to increase dediShack's capacity and install new hardware (such as servers and switches) and open our doors to the public.
During our planning stages, we decided to adapt a "No-mATX" policy, therefore all our servers are placed in rack mount cases rather than micro-ATX cases which are designed primarily as home / office desktop cases, not servers!
As prices rise for rack space all over the UK, we aim to keep our prices low and maintain them for as long as possible without disrupting the high level of service we provide. A large amount of time has been invested into finding a datacenter which can provide the uptime, reliability and requirements that a growing business such as ourselves require.
