Our company is a boutique investment, trade and infrastructure development firm based in Washington, DC, USA. We have affiliates and partners in Europe, south America, the middle east and north Africa, in our primary sectors of activities.
Our company was founded in 2001. We have three full time staff members in the firm. Our team has considerable experience in our three areas of activity. In the area of infrastructure development, our company promotes and assembles teams to build and operate infrastructure projects primarily in the energy sector, like electric powerplants. We also work on other types of infrastructures, like hospitals and airports, and typically get involved when we have a competitive advantage resulting from our years of experience in emerging markets and extensive contacts in our sectors of activities. An example of such a competitive advantage would be if we have a strong local relationship with someone who knows of our company and invites us to structure the transaction and obtain financing for it.
In the area of trade, we also look for opportunities where we have a competitive advantage, and this typically results because we have through our network of relationships access to buyers and sellers of commodities which may be in short supply at the moment. In those instances, our company is called on to structure and implement transactions where we will act as a mandated party to sell or buy these commodities. We work with state of the art information technologies and with strong financial partners chosen from our banking relationships. Recently, our company has been involved in trading oil and oil derivatives used in the textile industry and is now trading in the area of steel and metal, which are commodities in very high demand.
In the area of investment, our company is currently investing in energy infrastructure projects Latin America. We are always looking for new opportunities and are considering opportunities in the energy sector in many parts of the world.
