Our primary business is the marketing of steel products, both carbon and stainless, both long and flat. Our initial focus, and our core business today, remains full cargoes of flat rolled carbon steel shipped in bulk. But with the evolution of time and with gained expertise our business has expanded to include transportation of specialty items via container vessels and on occasion airfreight. While steel is our principal business, we are also active in the movement of steel making raw materials including pig iron, coke, and chrome.

As market conditions permit, we have been involved and are at the forefront of exporting American goods overseas, and have excellent relationships with the major USA mills. We have already exported well over two million tons to markets in Asia, Europe and South America.

We also represent a number of Asian and European mills and, during times of significant import activity, channel their products to a select group of users in diverse industries - - automotive, white goods, furniture, construction, and motor lamination, to name but a few. Sales of import tons have always been conducted in a most responsible manner at market oriented conditions to supplement, rather than displace, domestic supply.
