The core of indigenous interiors focuses on the traditional rhodesian teak furniture widely produced by the "indigenous" African tribes. Grown in Zambia and zimbabwe, the rich deep red-brown heartwood of rhodesian teak is marked with irregular black lines or flecks. Its straight, interlocked grain with fine even texture provides a smooth, lustrous surface ideal for both indoor flooring and fine furniture. The wood has long been cherished for its integrity and beauty with uses ranging fro railroad ties to interior home furnishings. Indigenous interiors' primary merchandise will consist of, but not be limited to, teak furniture for interior and exterior purposes.
