Standard Electronics has a pretty simple philosophy. We focus all of our buying power on one line and one line only. That line is the AMP brand by Tyco Electronics. Since we buy more than $10 million a year in AMP, we are able to shop factory sources around the world and seek aggressive pricing on factory new components.

Because we are able to buy the top runners at prices substantially lower than the national franchises, we pass the savings on to our customers. Most of the parts we sell are priced 20-30% below the national franchise price tables. In fact, half of our sales are to distributors and brokers since we can drop well below domestic distributor cost from the factory.

So make sure to run an of your AMP/Tyco requirements past me so I can insure you get the best price possible. I don't have all 100,000 numbers in the AMP catalog, but I have the fast movers and I have them at knockout prices.
