Apropos's accumulated experience in sourcing permits our clients access to a comprehensive range of merchandise from Asia.
We have developed an extensive vendor qualification process, so when you come to us with your particular requirements, we take you to vendors who have a proven track record of supplying quality products at competitive pricing and, above all, adhere firmly to agreed upon specifications and delivery schedules.
Vendor negotiation
Because we have developed excellent vendor relationships throughout Asia, we are able to negotiate optimally in your behalf; leveraging our vendor base to bring you the most competitive pricing, while meeting all specifications and delivery requirements.
We understand the nuts and bolts of the manufacturing process and are skilled in the area of negotiation. We are savvy in understanding and avoiding the "hidden" costs. We understand that negotiation does not only encompass competitive price, but includes delivering the highest degree of total value to our customers.
Product design and development
The advantage of being a global organization is knowing both the market and the sources. We have the experience and integrity to tell you upfront if a design will work or not, and the resources to offer you workable solutions within your budget. We not only work with our in-house design resources, but have a vast network of designers externally that allow us to choose the right resource and expertise for your specific project needs. We are plugged into the US market, as well as to the European fairs: ambient, heimtex, macef and birmingham. We anticipate market trends and continuously work with our vendors to offer a wide range of innovative items.
Sample development
Apropos understands the importance of accurate and timely samples. With u. S. representation, we have the opportunity to sit down with you and translate your sketches, concepts, and visions into workable sample requests. Our offices in Asia will locate the vendor that is best suited for the job and can transparently translate those requests into samples that represent your specifications on a consistent basis.
If you don't have artwork or a sketch but just an idea, direct it to us. We will develop the design and give you options on design, materials, finishes, and construction methods that will best fit within your budget.
Quality assurance
Apropos has developed and implemented quality assurance processes every step of the way, to allow you peace of mind. We work hand in hand with the customer and the manufacturer to identify, document, and monitor all key qa checks and balances for every design, manufacturing, and shipping process. We offer a high level of project management, navigating you through the manufacturing milestones: design development to approved shop drawings; the sampling process to approved samples; pre-production sampling and approval; factory visits at key manufacturing milestones; product testing; and special attention to proper packaging and labeling.
Shipping and logistics
Special attention to packaging ensures you maximize container loads, while avoiding damage and loss. . . . Which translates into cost savings for you. We have strategic alliances with freight forwarders and customs brokers which not only ensure that the process of shipping is within your control, but also saves you money.
