We sell water products to water well drillers, pump installers, dealers, and contractors. Some of our major manufacturers include Aermotor, Grundfos, Sta-Rite, Amtrol, Flexcon, and Certainteed. Preferred Pump was founded in 1982 when Randy Lyne left the ranks of a pump manufacturer to start his own distribution company. He opened the first Preferred Pump branch in Dallas, Texas, and later relocated it to Fort Worth. Over the next six years, the company expanded across Texas with branches opening in Tyler, Houston, and San Antonio.
In the last 14 years, Preferred Pump has seen phenomenal growth. The company has successfully added locations in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Nebraska, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Ohio.
