While visiting South East Asia on vacation I discovered Cultured Seawater Pearls and have become completely enamored by the pearl's beauty and at the same time intrigued by its mystery. While in South East Asia I serendipitously generated solid business relationships with three separate Pearl dealers. At the time, it was not my intent to get into the Pearl importing business.
The story of the origination of my business consists of me buying a beautiful 16" choker of black seawater pearls (6.5X7MM) for my girlfriend while on the vacation. Naturally skeptical about the supposed deal I received, upon my return to Boston, I had the set appraised. My doubts were negated when the gemologist confirmed the set was investment grade and beautiful at that.
