As a previous oxygen user, I am aware of the problems of the cannula while using oxygen. Ear irritation was a problem, adjustment of cannula at throat area was unpleasant, and mainly using oxygen on a daily basis while performing daily activities was cummbersome, with the cannula placed in front of me. Also, the appearance of being more medical than personal was an issue. Cancer patients have to deal with loss of hair and then having to use oxygen is a problem with their personal appearance in public. Burn victims have sensitive skin, and additional cannula against their skin is painful. Veterans in hospitals have a problem on their appearance and any personal accessory is comforting to them. Wheel chair patients have the problem of cannula being caught in their wheels. My idea helps all these groups cope with a more personal accessory that is more aesthetic in appearance. I have my idea on a patent pending basis, and are seeking a company to license my idea. A prototype and information is available.
