This company was first established in 1955 by "Coopers & Nephews" of South Africa. Over the many years gone by it has changed names numerous times, most notably in 1990 when it was re-named "Wellcome Zambia Limited" to be in line with the Wellcome Corporate identity.
However in 2000, we aqquired the business re naming it "Planet Health Care Zambia Ltd".
The factory and offices are situated at the corner of Lumumba and Buyantashi Roads in Lusaka.
Planet Healthcare are the leading Manufacturers, Distributors and Stockists of Veterinary, Environmental Health and some Medical products.
Product Range:
Locally manufactured products include:
* Cattle Dips
* Veterinary wound treatments
* Hygiene preparations
* Insectisides for public health vector
* Disinfectants and sterilisers
Used in hospitals, food processing and for personal hygiene.
Back up Services:
Planet Healthcare Ltd has an in-house well equipped and modern laboratory, primarily used for quality control and also for testing of dip wash samples submitted by clients.
