After the independence of Bangladesh Fauji Foundation, East Pakistan emerged as Sena Kalyan Sangstha. It was officially renamed as Sena Kalyan Sangstha on 01 July 1972. It is a trust devoted to the Welfare of released, retired and discharged personnel of Armed Forces and their dependents.
