Preconex (an abbreviation of premixes and concentrates for export) was founded in 1983. Headquarters and production unit are in willebroek, Belgium. Preconex specialises in the manufacture and merchandising of high quality protein concentrates and vitamin / mineral premixes for livestock producers and feed manufacturers. Further the company also produces fishmeal-analogues and compound feed. Furthermore preconex does also trades in commodities such as soybean meal, corn, wheat, barley, fishmeal, alfalfa, dcp (dicalciumphosphate) and grains. Micro ingredients we regularly do supply to our customers are: Amino acids, minerals, vitamins and additives.
Our export markets are mainly middle-east, Africa and eastern Europe. In order to serve the markets better joint ventures where set up Bulgaria, Romania, Denmark, Spain, Algeria, Cameroon, Yemen, Iraq and jordan (regional office for the middle east) .
The goal of preconex is to provide the animal feed industry throughout the world with an easy and tailor made access to animal feed, especially towards those parts of the world where a shortage of protein does exist.
The basis is formed by our vast experience and long tradition of finding solutions for feed and livestock production in various areas of the world, with sometimes extreme weather conditions. Products are mostly tailor made and developed in co-operation with our customers in order to meet the local needs and requirements.
Furthermore, the unique location in Belgium provides a competitive advantage.
The factory is located alongside the sea canal Brussels-antwerp and has the possibility to load and unload sea vessels up to 4. 000 m / t.
The excellent facilities provided by other major Belgium ports (antwerp, zeebrugge, and an inland container terminal in willebroek at walking distance of the factory) , ensures low-cost and fast shipment to any destination in the world.
Finally, rigorous control of raw materials and checks at all stages of the production process, ensures a real high quality product.
