My name is Alex Varner. My wife Lauretta and I have been in business for 40 years. Our son and daughter joined us in opening Hampton House Furniture three years ago. One of our product lines is rugs. We have been buying selected hand tufted wool rugs from other north American importers and selling under our label.
We need to locate greater variety of product to sell to other retailers across Canada.
Ansanie Handmade Rug Company is the name of the business we will be using to import our products.
We are willing to pay our initial orders through Alibaba until we establish a volume that will give you confidence in the future potential of the business.
We welcome offers from all manufacturers of quality handmade rugs for our consideration to purchase. Our initial volume will be small (6 to 10 pieces per order) but we will grow this as quickly as we can develop a retail network.
We will initially sell the rugs through our present rug department in our furniture store but as we build a relationship with new export suppliers and increase confidence in being able to import them we will make them available on a new web site under construction and will be approaching other quality retailers outside our trading area to carry our imported rugs. Our area of Atlantic Canada has not been well serviced in the past and we believe there is an opportunity to offer a larger selection of rugs that will better meet the demand for the Atlantic Canada design requirements .
