It was born out of 2 distinct areas of interest.
The combination of Lakes District Forestry Services, which started in 1980, and Vector Services and Technology, begun in 1997, represents 2 generations of different areas of expertise.
Lakes District Forestry services operated in the central interior of British Columbia, Canada, as a forestry consulting and contracting company. Activities included, but were not limited to, tree planting supervision, timber cruising, tree spacing, silviculture surveys, lumber scaling and waste surveys.
Vector Services and Technology represented the computerized generation. The company was established for computer sales and repair.
In recognition of this expanding scope of interest, Ron Harrison Enterprises was formed.
This has been the umbrella company for a number of different enterprises, including a wireless internet company which has recently been sold to a community-based organization.
Through internet marketing, the participants of this company now offer their expertise worldwide, including their enthusiasum for fishing and camping.
