Our aim is to develop a rounded linecard of industrial tools, production supplies, consumables and value-added services to maximize our benefit to both customers and suppliers.
Broad and active account base-
We are not confined to one market segment but have diversified to reach as many customers as possible.
Key Distributor partnerships-
We bring distribution experience and have cultivated relationships with distributors across all market segments. Focus distribution partners include EIS, Motion Canada, Acklands-Grainger, HD Supplies (Brafasco), Fastenal, Wesco, EB Peerless and many more.
Full knowledge of marketplace growth and opportunity-
We have remained current with changing market conditions and are tuned in to all opportunities. We are linked to regional business forums and are updated with developments in the territory such as technology advancement and industry expansion.
Committed to providing best possible service to manufacturers-
As a new rep we are able to provide unrivalled focus on ensuring the success of the manufacturers we represent.
Market Overview
Our market can be broken into 7 segments we actively engage:
Industrial
Potentially the market with the largest growth opportunities. Non-traditional accounts with major service/maintenance functions rather than new builds. Key accounts: Dofasco, TTC, GO Transit, STCUM, Transcorp, Air Canada, Rogers, Otis Elevator, Bombardier Transport, Bombardier Recreational, Kaba Ilco, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Canada Post, Freight companies (UPS, Fedex etc).
Electronic
Traditional, established marketplace. Major potential for growth because of returning manufacturing and focus customers. Key accounts: RIM, IBM, Smart Technologies, Honeywell, Evertz, SMTC, Sanmina/SCI, Celestica, Flextronics.
Alternative Energy
Major focus in Ontario especially, because of government tariffs to encourage clean energy sources, will spread elsewhere. Major solar power manufacturers are rushing to build facilities in Ontario and/or use existing contact manufacturers. GE, Samsung, Celestica, SunEdison, Advanced Energy.
Medical
In Canada, the medical marketplace is something of a hybrid between traditional medical and electronics companies. Key Accounts: Tyco Medical, GE Medical, Phillips, Pfizer, Merck-Frost, Schering-Plough, Cardinal Health.
Mil-Aero
Several accounts with global and/or US contracts with good potential. Key accounts: Ultra, General Dynamics, DoD, Bell Helicopter.
The Aerospace market is larger. Growth potential is very high, but sales cycles can run to 18 months due to tight specification requirements (both mil and aero). Key accounts: Bombardier, Lockheed Martin, Pratt and Whitney, Rolls-Royce.
Government
Canadian Government accounts are still performing well and traditionally are not well-serviced. Major opportunities to lock in business over a long-term period. Govt accounts: National Research Council, Dept of Defence, Canadian Space Agency, NavCan.
