Latingroup started its activity in 1998 within its structure latincomex by exporting seafood products. Latinfruits S. A. Was created in 2001 by 2 partners, both of whom have a long experience in the fresh fruit trade. This company started its activities by exporting different varieties of fruits, mainly to Europe. Since 2002, latinfruits S. A. Has entered the frozen fruit and vegetables trade, becoming in less than a year one of the main export companies for strawberries in chilli. In 2004, latinfruits represented 9.34% of all chilean strawberry exports, thus making us the third most important exporter of frozen strawberries.
Our offer of frozen products has, from 2003, expanded rapidly with the export of raspberries, kiwis, asparagus and mushrooms, in addition to fresh products such as apples, grapes and dehydrated mushrooms, amongst others. Since 2004, we offer a range of more than 10 different frozen products for export.

Frozen asparagus: Export IQF a, b and cut and tips) october to december. Frozen strawberries: Export IQF a. November to march. Frozen raspberries: Export IQF a and dirty crumble. December-may frozen blackberries: Export only cultivated IQF a. December-january frozen grapes: Export IQF a. Frozen & brine mushrooms: Export boletus luteus and lactarious. May-september. Frozen kiwis: Exported sliced and in cubes. May-june.
Fresh apples: Royal gala and grany smith. The season is march.
Fresh mushrooms (morchella): Mushroom are done by plane. Quality is measured by the size. The season is november.
Fresh grapes: Moscatel variety. January- march.
