Hubei Tianyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. is a new and promising state-owned special steel manufacturer, which is invested in by Huangshi Coal & Mine Group of Huangshi City, which is regarded as the origin of Chinese Mine & Metallurgy Industry. The origin of our company is Huangshi Tianyuan Special Steel Co., Ltd., which was set up in 1992. To meet the market development, Huangshi Tianyuan Special Steel Co., Ltd. expanded into Hubei Tianyuan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. in 2004. Our production plant is situated in the New Cargo Port Area of Qipanzhou Dock, and adjoins Xisai Industrial Park of Huangshi. Our company faces towards Yangzi River to the north, and Port Railway and Logistic Center to the west. Besides, in front our company is Huangfu Roadway and Daqi Roadway, which goes through Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Daqin-Guangzhou Expressway, and Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway. The planned railway in the south will go through East-West, and Huangshi Third Yangtze River Bridge is nearby. Thus our transportation is quite convenient.Covering an area of 136,000 square meters, our plant is completed in two phases. With the investment of RMB150 million in the first phase, we construct EF, LF, ESR forging, deep processing and heat treatment workshops, together with a technical center integrating R&D, production technology and quality test. Since the first phase was running in December, 2007, our annual outputs have reached 40000 tons of high-alloy steel and 10000 tons of ESR steel. Our main products are tool/die steel, high-alloy structural steel, bearing steel and stainless & heat-resisting steel, including such varieties as forged round, flat and block, together with forging stock, and various sizes of steel ingots, ESR ingots, etc. Our steel deep processing is equipped with large-scale peeling, turning and milling equipment. All our products are delivered with the condition of heat treatment, such as annealing, etc.Our company adopts advanced machinery, exquisite craftwork, strong inspecting equipment, perfect management means and excellent teamwork of after-sales services to make us become one of the leading manufacturers of special steel in the same field. Our smelting equipment includes: EF, IF, LF, VD and ESR; Forging equipment includes 3T & 8T electrohydraulic hammers. A Japanese Shimadzu Spectrograph, German Leika Metallographic Microscope and other physical and chemical inspection or testing equipment are also equipped in the technical center. Based on Huangshi Special Steel, our company brings together various senior metallurgical technical staff members including operators, technicians, etc. We cooperate closely with Shanghai University (School of Materials Science and Engineering), and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), aiming at providing R&D and manufacture for Tianyuan-Brand Tool/Die steel with high quality at the world-class level, making Tianyuan become a high-tech special steel enterprise. Tianyuan-Brand special steel has taken GB/T19001:2008 Certificate and ISO9001:2008 International Quality Approval.
