The modified PVA coating has been greatly developed through applying nanotechnology on the basis of nature high barrier property of PVA resin. The modified PVA has improved property of water-resistance because of a series of chemical reaction and nanometer-sized inorganic powder added into coating liquid.
Nanometer-sized inorganic powder has a property of immense specific surface area and excellent surface activity, which can effectively restrain the motion of high polymer and create further barrier and water-resistance.
