Dear Sirs,
we are exporters of fresh flowers from Ecuador South America, working under us 80 farms here in Ecuador.
Our philosophy of excellence and continuous improvement is underscored in each stage of production, from planting to harvest. Our plants are constantly monitored for fertilization and pest control, leading to optimum production. Attention to detail, careful nurturing, and follow through assure the beauty and quality of our roses.
The selection process for new varieties takes into account client preferences and market demands, as well as production requirements. By working together with our clients in strategic partnerships we are able to fulfill their requirements.
Harvest
Process of total care of the roses Our technical staff determines the cut stage by variety in accordance with the customer s needs and preferences. The flowers are then transported, in water, to a post-harvest facility for processing. This initial care after cutting is important to ensure our roses arrive at their final destination with the Premium quality that is our hallmark.
Post Harvest
Quality procedures for an accurate handling of our roses
Following the cutting process, careful preparations are made before shipment to our clients. After adequate hydration and treatment, we classify roses based on our high stands and client preferences.
The flowers that have passed these controls are then gently packed in sheets of cardboard, to protect the buds and give stability to the bunch. Corrugated cardboard is used for the outside packaging. Bunches are then placed on a conveyor belt that takes them through a guillotine, so stems may be uniformly cut. Each freshly-cut bunch can now be identified by grade and variety for inventory purposes. This process guarantees we will meet the expectations of our customers. Finally, leaves are protected and bunches are placed in a special hydration area; the flowers are introduced into cold storage, to await the various fixed orders we receive from our clients. The trust our clients place in us has made an expert in handling fixed orders.
The roses are carefully packed in boxes and stored in a cold room until they are transported in our refrigerated trucks to cargo companies for export. Many steps are taken in the greenhouses as well in the post-harvest to ensure our flowers travel in optimum conditions and have the longest vase life possible.
