As Sigfrid Bucher took over the company Rainbow in 1997, this was a prosperous small business with a small customer base. At an early stage the current Managing Director found out the potential of the company and always works on its extension. Thus, a so-called bridgehead was established to China shortly after acquisition. Our employees are working in the procurement , quality assurance and production monitoring in multi-shift operation.
In the years 1997 to 2005, there was the rapid growth of the company and the booming import business made it necessary to move several times in order to meet the requirements for storage space and office space. Today you'll find us situated well positioned in Froendenberg an der Ruhr. We offer approximately 5,000 square meters of storage and exhibition space and 250 square meters of office space. Enough space for an attractive product display from a range of over 5,300 different products and smooth logistics.
In the year 2010/2011 the workforce has been expanded. As part of the continuous improvement of quality and performance we have revised our entire webshop in 2011. We introduced new software that represents the currently best state of the art in retail management and mapping the 360 - degree Fullfillment processes. The customer benefits in several aspects like: Optimized order and logistics processes , transparency and an improved CRM (customer relationship management).
In addition to the web shop our extensive main and seasonal catalogues are produced each year in our house. Currently our catalogues have 96 pages trend items and 40 our special scarf catalog to offer. In addition, we have a special sunglasses catalog for you . We believe in making our import goods always on the best possible price/performance ratio .
