Eastwood Timber Industries, pt. is a private owned company established in the year of 2004 by a young but experienced timber and wood product entrepreneur. The company is located in Jalan Mayjend Sungkono 88 in Gresik city of East Java province of Indonesia about 30 minutes drive to the west from Surabaya city.
The company owned a factory property with land area of 26,000 sqm and factory area of 16,000 sqm, fully equipped production floor, from the sawmill plant down-to moulding machines. The company is also equipped with hot press machine and finger joint machines. Therefore, with these machines the company is capable to produce various high quality product to satisfy the market requirement.
Being a longtime timber and wood manufacturer, the company until recently has decided to focus their production on Premium Quality Java Teak product, and has secured substantial quantity of premium quality Java Teak material from PERHUTANI Java Teak Plantation. PERHUTANI is government run Forest Management National Corporation who responsible to operate a sustainable wood forest for wood industry need in Indonesia. Being able to work hand in hand with PERHUTANI, the company is able to secure the best material available from this limited teak material availability in Java.
The company is currently under the process to obtain an FSC certification,
a COC (Chain of Custody) has been issued for the company to show that our company has complied with the FSC requirement, and has been recomended to get the FSC certification. Soon in the future we can furnish our shipment with this FSC certificate.
