In appreciation of the colossal task of re-orienting the Nigerian populace towards paying greater attention to the agricultural sector, the Board of Directors of GoldenFields Publishing Company Nig. Ltd has resolved to birth an agro-centered Magazine-AgroNigeria-to serve as a veritable medium for the exposition of issues connected to the agro-allied sector of the Nigerian economy.
The Magazine will be mailed to all key players in the agricultural and other allied sectors in order to ensure a continuum of ideas. It is also envisioned that it will serve both public and private sector based efforts aimed at ensuring the realization of Nigeria's short term dream of self sufficiency in food production.
Additionally, the long term objective of creating an export base for the agro-allied sector will also be kept in view, given the vast opportunities which beckon to Nigeria-particularly at the Sub-regional sphere.
AgroNigeria Magazine will be produced in every quarter of the year beginning from October, 2006.
