Wuse II Trading Company Limited was incorporated in July 2005 as an integrated trading organization and its corporate focus is on the creation and delivery of exceptional life enhancing and affordable products and services that cut across various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The Company, although with Nigerian roots has a global reach and in conformity with this orientation WUTTCO has developed a network of alliances partnerships with many companies around the globe especially in Asia United States of America, Europe etc. These alliances have culminated into the execution of MOUs and Agreements with a number of corporate entities in these parts of the world.
The company has 3 (three) Strategic Business Units that constitute the pivots around which its business activities revolve.
These SBUs are:
Importation of innovative products that fill demand gaps in some identified sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Export of local raw materials and agro-commodities to the international market.
Institutional Procurement Services to governmental, non-governmental foreign missions and private organizations.
Innovative newly emerging and other products that are uncommon on Nigerian markets are constantly being sourced from various foreign manufacturers and results-oriented scientists. Such products are being introduced into Nigeria at affordable prices and leading to the appointment of local distributors thus giving some measure of economic and financial empowerment to a number of indigenous small-scale businessmen and women. Examples of products in the categories described herein that have been introduced into the Nigerian market by the company are Post Harvest Processing Machines, Mosquito Repellant Pyjamas Herbal Medicines Food Processors/Dehydrators, Agricultural Machines amongst several others.
The company has successfully executed a number of contracts with some State Governments and is in the process of securing fresh orders and/or contracts particularly for supplies of agricultural machines and multi-functional food processors for example Combined Harvesters, Rice Milling Machines, Rice Reapers etc.
The company also has its focus on non-oil exports and is a registered organization with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council. In order to achieve the objectives outlined for its non-oil export division, WUTTCO has embarked on a number of steps and or initiatives including product identification, marketing research collaboration with other Local Exporters and Export Consultants and the identification of credible foreign buyers.
On the basis of the interim results from its marketing research efforts the company has taken the decision to concentrate its export-related business activities on agricultural commodities and solid minerals. WUTTCO has, in this connection, identified some exportable products in these two categories, for example, Gum Arabic (Grades 1,2 and 3), cashew nuts, Ginger, Soya beans, Sesame(Beni) seeds and Barytes, Charcoal, Gypsum, Potassium, Mica etc.
The Company is also involved in institutional procurements which has become a specialized business niche. The objectives of the company in this area are to assist government agencies, parastatals, and other public sector entities in meeting their procurement needs effortlessly, cost effectively and helping such entities to enthrone good governance.
The Company has a stable Board of Directors and a versatile management team made up of experienced and muti-talented professionals who have proven their mettle in their chosen fields. The company places its eyes on the four key foundations of its corporate existence namely, Information Technology, Processes, Culture and Human Resources and huge proportions of its budget are being committed annually towards the upliftment and solidification of these crucial parameters.
