Eastern Textiles (Pvt. ) Limited was incorporated in 1969 and have since been involved in the manufacturing and export of Bath Linen, Kitchen Linen and other Home Textile Items. Our earlier exports were to Soviet Union and other East European Countries, which consisted mainly of dobby designed towels in bulk quantities.
In the early seventies we started exporting to U. S. these were primarily white towels for institutions like Hotels, Hospitals and Linen rental. We continue to be in this business and have an extensive network of customers.
For the last Ten years we have started exporting retail packaged Kitchen and Bath Linen items to large U. S. customers like Wal-Mart, Linen & Things, Bed Bath & Beyond, JC Penney, Shopko Stores, and Meijer.
Besides using Ring Spun Combed / Carded yarn, we are also using other blends like Egyptian cotton, Pima, Zero Twist, Modal, & Bamboo.
Our facility is located at the hub of industrial activity of Karachi, Korangi Industrial Area, we have approx. 200, 000 sq. Meter work facility along with 400 workers. We are a composite unit with weaving, stitching and packaging process all under one roof. Unit consists of 48 Broad width high speed terry shuttle less Sulzer and Vamatex Looms with a capacity to produce over Ten Tons of terry everyday.
