Premium Wine Exchange Incorporated (PWX) was formed in October 2003 amongst four partners who all shared a common passion for wine.
The Philippine wine market is quite limited and they saw this as an opportunity to carve out a niche for mid-priced value up to luxury wines primarily from the New World. The initial focus was on California wines but the portfolio has since expanded to Oregon and the rest of the world.
Our objective is to provide our customers with a selection of wines that will enable them to expand their horizons and depth of knowledge about varietals and food pairing. We do this through a series of tastings, dinners and wine events.
Because of our partner network, we are able to reach a broad segment of the higher end wine consumer market as well as institutions, embassies and hotels. This has led to co-sponsorship projects with well known organizations in the Philippines.
But we feel that our impact has been in the personal touch we have provided with our customers and the residual benefits from the positive "word of mouth" advertising we have received.
While there are other wine houses in the Philippines, most of them focus on volume and lower end, value wines. We prefer to handle a limited number of names that we are familiar with and can offer to our clients based on our combined appreciation for these wines. Most importantly, our establishment goes to a great extent to ensure that our products are shipped and stored under impeccable conditions to provide our customers maximum satisfaction. Our care and our personalized service are what distinguish us from the others.
